This is an Illustration based off of the concept of how common trash is in the world. Waste exists without a proper way of disposal. Nothing ever completely goes away, especially trash.
As pollution worsens and the occurrence of gaint floating islands of trash get larger we must consider the impact we have on the Earth as we have yet to develop proper facilities to deal with waste in an affordable manner.
If the amount of pollution worsens then we are rapidly facing our own extinction, becoming another peice of waste in the pile.
